The JAF series floating joint boasts several design features. One of the most notable is its ability to absorb eccentricity and insufficient parallelism between the cylinder and the passive body. This feature eliminates the need for axis alignment, which greatly reduces the demand for high-precision machining. Additionally, the floating joint has a flange type installation form that fits cylinders of varying diameters, ensuring stable connection and easy installation. The main material used in the construction of the joint is resin, which has excellent chemical and heat resistance properties. Further, the joint's large swing angle provides greater flexibility and adaptability. Lastly, it has exceptional high pressure resistance performance, making it suitable for cylinders and hydraulic cylinders with pressures up to 1 and 3.5 MPa, respectively.
The JAF series floating joint has various technical specifications that make it a versatile and effective solution for many applications. The joint's connection diameter comes in Rc1/4 or M27X1.5 sizes, making it compatible with various pipe diameter requirements. It can be used with compressed air and water, ensuring that it meets different fluid control needs. The joint also has a pressure range of 0.05-1 MPa, making it suitable for various working pressures. When it comes to environmental temperature and fluid temperature range, it can operate in temperatures ranging from -5 to 60 ℃, making it suitable for different working environments. Additionally, the maximum tensile strength of the floating joint is impressive. For instance, the JAF100-27-150 has a maximum tensile strength of 28000 N ². With allowable eccentricity and swing angle of generally ± 5 °, the joint has a certain installation error of 12. Lastly, the joint's dust cover material synthetic rubber, which provides good sealing and dust-proof performance.
