The SMC KQG2 series of one-touch pneumatic fittings deliver reliable performance and superior protection from corrosion, chemicals, and high temperatures. This series highlights its 30% smaller and 62% lighter design compared to traditional fittings, accommodating tubing diameters of 3.2mm to 16mm. This level of versatility allows its use with a variety of compressed air, water and steam systems. The operating pressure range and temperature conditions range from (-100kPa to 1MPa) and (-5°C to +150°C) respectively.
The KQG2 fittings are also constructed of SUS316 stainless steel. This provides improved pitting and corrosion resistance qualities, particularly when exposed to chloride-rich environments when compared to SUS304 stainless steel. When supple, reliable performance and superior corrosion resistance far above that of conventional fittings are needed, the SMC KQG2 series is and excellent choice.
The KQGL06-01S features a highly compact design with shortened dimensions by approx. 30%, and a reduced weight of 62%, compared to other models. It is made of stainless steel 316 and special FKM used for its seal parts to guarantee a durable structure.
This product is extremely versatile, and it can be used with FEP, PFA, nylon, soft nylon, polyurethane and polyolefin at temperature range of -5 to 150° C. Additionally, it is grease-free, suitable for applications that involve the use of steam.
