The SMC KQG2 series of stainless steel one-touch pneumatic fittings offers engineers outstanding resistance to corrosion, chemicals and high temperatures. With its truly impressive performance features, this fitting is 30 percent smaller and 62 percent lighter than the conventional models and can even be used with a range of tubing diameters starting from 3.2mm up to 16mm.
Furthermore, these fittings can handle a broad variety of compressed air, vapor and water systems and have an operating pressure of (-100kPa to 1MPa), as well as a temperature range of (-5°C to +150°C). Most impressively, they are made from SUS316 stainless steel, a metal with much better resistance to pitting and corrosion than the conventional SUS304 stainless steel. Besides, they provide an easy removal or installation process for different maintenance and implementation purposes.
This product presents an optimal combination of compactness and lightweight. Compared to its predecessor, the KQGL06-01S, it measures 30% shorter and weighs 62% less.
Manufactured with stainless steel 316 for its metal components and a special FKM for its seal parts, this product is suitable for a range of tubing materials, including FEP, PFA, nylon, soft nylon, polyurethane and polyolefin. Furthermore, it endures temperature ranging from -5°c to 150°c and is completely grease-free, making it the ideal choice for applications using steam.
