Variable Frequency Converter is a voltage-frequency adjuster designed to regulate electrical power and convert it into a specific frequency. It can be used to control fixed and programmable frequencies from 15 to 63 Hz with a power factor of 0.95. The device is also protected from dust and moisture with IP20 degree of protection and is able to operate under 95% relative humidity (non-condensing). The Frequency Variation Controller is a compact, reliable, and easy to install voltage-frequency regulator with excellent performance.
The ECS4020-2 series inverter features an easy, guided start-up process to get you going in no time. Its modular construction allows for maximum configuration flexibility, providing for six programmable isolated digital inputs, two scalable analog inputs (0 V to 10 V, 0 mA to 20 mA) that can also be used as a 7th/8th digital input and two programmable analog outputs (0 mA to 20 mA). In addition, three programmable relay outputs (30 V DC/5 A resistive load; 250 V AC/2A inductive load) and low-noise motor operation thanks to high pulse frequencies, adjustable (observing derating if necessary) provide complete protection for motor and inverter.
It boasts a modular design, as well as an operating temperature range of 0.12 kW to 75 kW: -10 °C to +50 °C (+14 °F to +122 °F), and for 90 kW to 200 kW: 0 °C to +40 °C (+32 °F to +104 °F). This inverter also conveniently features a compact housing, as a result of its high power density, as well as easy cable connection (mains and motor connections are separated for optimal electromagnetic compatibility). Furthermore, its detachable operator panels and screwless control terminals on detachable I/O board enables users to easily use it.

Additionally, it has a linear V/f characteristic, quadratic V/f characteristic, multipoint characteristic (programmable V/f characteristic), torque control, flying restart, slip compensation, automatic restart following mains failure or fault, user-definable function blocks for logic and arithmetic operations, kinetic buffering, positioning ramp down, high-grade PID controller for simple internal process control (auto-tuning), programmable acceleration/deceleration, ramp smoothing, Fast Current Limit (FCL) for trip-free operation, fast, repeatable digital input response time, fine adjustment using two high-resolution 10-bit analog inputs, compound braking for controlled rapid braking, integrated brake chopper (for 0.12 kW to 75 kW inverters), four skip frequencies and a removable “Y” capacitor for use on IT systems. (Non-grounded mains supplies require the “Y” capacitor to be removed and an output choke installed.)
