The hydro-electric pressure switch type HED 8 is a piston type pressure switch. It consists of a housing, an installation kit with piston, compression spring, adjustment element and a micro switch. When the pressure to be monitored is lower than the set pressure, the micro switch is operated. The pressure is imposed onto the piston through a nozzle, which is held by a spring plate. The movement of the piston is then transfered to the micro switch to either switch the electric circuit on or off, based on the circuit set-up. Meanwhile, the positive stop of the spring plate safeguards the micro switch from any succumb to mechanical destruction in case of a sudden pressure drop, while avoiding solid compression of the compression spring if an overpressure happens.
Notice: To further elongate the service life of this pressure switch, it should be installed with minimum vibration and secured against hydraulic pressure shocks.
The flange connection type of our product is according to the ISO 16873 standard. It also serves as a vertical stacking element in combination with sandwich plates, which is compliant with ISO 4401. In regards to pressure ratings, it comes in 5 varieties. Moreover, there are 4 adjustment types to choose from: spindle with/without protective cap, spindle with scale, with/without protective cap, rotary knob with scale and lockable rotary knob with scale. Customers will have the option of electrical connection through a large cubic connector or M12 x 1 connector. It also contains micro switch with NC/NO contact function that is capable of potential-free switching of currents ranging from 1mA to 2A. UL approval is available for pressure ranges up to 350 bar.
