The Direct operated directional spool valve with solenoid actuation is designed with high-performance in mind. It accommodates porting patterns according to DIN 24340 form A, ISO 4401-03-02-05, and NFPA T3.5.1 R2-2002 D03. Additionally, the subplates come in different variations depending on the specific application. Moreover, the wet-pin DC or AC voltage solenoids feature a detachable coil, and can be rotated 90° without needing to open the pressure-tight chamber. The electrical connections can be set up as either individual or central connections, while a manual override is optional. A smoothly switching variant is available and can be found in the RE 23183 documentation. To further enhance the valve, inductive position switch and proximity sensors (contactless) can be used, which are found in RE 24830.
