Features:

Primary Seal – TS-2000 Rod Seal is a leakproof design that is designed to self-compensate and self-relieve variations that may occur due to mechanical deflection.

“Jewel” Rod Gland Assembly – It can be removed externally without any need to disassemble the cylinder. The long bearing surface is on the inside of the seals to ensure that positive lubrication is provided from the inside of the cylinder. An o-ring is used both as a seal between the gland and the head, and as a prevailing torque-type lock.

Secondary Seal – Double-Service Wiperseal™ helps to clean any oil film on the rod when the extend stroke occurs, and then cleans the rod on the return stroke.

Piston Rod Stud – It is provided on rods of 2.000" diameter and below if a standard style #4 rod end thread is required. Threads in such rods are designed to be rolled threads with the use of high strength steel, and an anaerobic adhesive helps to permanently lock the stud and the piston rod together.

Piston Rod – It is made of medium carbon steel which has been induction casehardened, hard chrome-plated and polished with a 10 RMS finish. Piston rods made in between .625" and 4.000" come with a minimum yield material of 85,000 to 100,000 psi, while larger diameters have a range of 57,000 and 90,000 psi.

Ports – The standard ports are of the SAE “O” ring variety. Optional Ports Ports – NPTF ports are also available without an extra charge, while oversized NPTF and SAE ports may come with an extra charge.

Adjustable Floating Stepped Cushions – These provide a maximum performance when used in any applications and help to reduce shock. Cushions, while optional, can be furnished at head end, cap end, or both without a change to the envelope or mounting dimensions.

One-Piece Nodular Iron Piston – This is designed to reduce bearing loads with its wide and piston surface that contacts the cylinder bore. To lock and seal the piston to the rod, an anaerobic adhesive is used.
