These load-sensing-systems are also open circuit.
A variable pump with an axial piston rotary group of swashplate design is effective for hydrostatic drives in an open circuit.
The flow produced by the said pump is proportional to the drive speed and displacement and can be infinitely varied by controlling the swashplate angle. It provides significant fuel savings of up to 15%, with optimized efficiency, though same power is achieved with lesser fuel consumption, as compared to fixed systems. Additionally, it also offers an extended service life than gear pumps.
The pump has a compact design with an integrated controller and a wide range of highly adaptable control devices for all important applications. Stepless flow variation is accomplished by adjusting the swashplate angle. It is known for its low noise, high power density and excellent suction characteristics.
