The SMC Rodless Cylinder is extremely advanced due to its use of industrial-strength magnets in both the piston and carriage, combining them into one unit that is driven forward when air pressure is applied.
Moreover, the product's weight has been significantly reduced through improved body and head cover shapes, as well as the use of magnetically-coupled components.
The lack of external leakage means that the CY series has many applications in different environments, such as saving mounting space and allowing for the loading and transfer of moments through the use of integrated guides. There is a choice of 9 different bore sizes, from 6mm up to 63mm, with standard strokes up to 1000mm. On top of this, the 5 different model variations allow for the most efficient application choices.
