The SMC Rodless Cylinder uses industrial strength magnets located in the piston and external carriage to form a single unit, which will travel when actuated with air pressure. Through re-designing of the body and head cover shapes, along with the use of magnetic coupling, the product weight has been greatly reduced. Additionally, it has no external leakage, making it well-suited for use in a variety of environments.
The item has a wide range of applications, and is able to save mounting space thanks to its magnetically coupled design. Furthermore, it allows for loads and moments to be achieved through integrated guides, with a variety of guides available to help reach the desired accuracy or allowable moment.
What's more, CY is available in 9 bore sizes, from 6mm to 63mm, with standard stokes up to 1000mm. The 5 different model variations offer the greatest application choice and auto switches are integrated as standard. It is sure to meet any requirements upon purchase!
